Yes, the paths we take do have an impact. It is really true – the little choices we make shape us, and can provide us with challenges in the future, which we must face, or be defeated. Yet they also provide us with illumination. I like your exercise, in which you tell the reader to “look back 10 years” & examine what choices he has made.. and what the results were. This does put perspective to things.

Thanks man. I do like to use questions – more than just affirmations, I
like to ask myself the question first – and then affirm the answer back to
myself. I think I'll write a follow up post on it, it seems to be more

Thanks! You know, you're right about relationships – I have some moments I
can think of that were triumphs of just myself, but they are far outnumbered
by moments of triumph, happiness or just genuine connection with other
people.
